										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Time seems to have no hold on the voice of <strong>Sandrine Piau</strong>, the divine <strong>French soprano</strong> who is embarking on a recital tour with a luxury partner, pianist <strong>David Kadouch</strong>, at the<strong> Grand Théâtre de Genève</strong> on<strong> 1 March 2024</strong> or as part of the<strong> Festival de Saint-Denis</strong> on<strong> 9 June</strong>. A CD has just been released by<strong> Alpha Classics</strong>. The intimacy of the recital will follow the premiere of a new opera by <strong>Marc-André Dalbavie</strong>,<strong> Melancholie des Widerstands</strong>, at the<strong> Berlin Staatsoper</strong> on <strong>30 June 2024</strong>.<br />

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The<strong> Grand Théâtre de Genève</strong> is preparing to host the event production of its season. From <strong>13 to 26 December 2023</strong>, <strong>Strauss&#8217;s Der Rosenkavalier</strong> is conducted by <strong>Jonathan Nott</strong>, Artistic and Musical Director of the <strong>Orchestre de la Suisse Romande</strong> leading his orchestra, with a top-class cast. The delicate Swedish soprano <strong>Maria Bengtsson</strong> performs as the <strong>Feldmarschallin</strong> opposite <strong>Michèle Losier</strong> as <strong>Octavian</strong>, <strong>Mélissa Petit</strong> as<strong> Sophie</strong> and <strong>Matthew Rose</strong> as<strong> Baron Ochs</strong>, but what really catches the eye is the name of the director: it is<strong> Christoph Waltz</strong>, the famous actor from<strong> Inglourious Basterds</strong> and<strong> Django Unchained</strong>, who is offering <strong>Opera Ballet Vlaanderen</strong> a new production based on his 2013 premiere.</p>
