Time seems to have no hold on the voice of Sandrine Piau, the divine French soprano who is embarking on a recital tour with a luxury partner, pianist David Kadouch, at the Grand Théâtre de Genève on 1 March 2024 or as part of the Festival de Saint-Denis on 9 June. A CD has just been released by Alpha Classics. The intimacy of the recital will follow the premiere of a new opera by Marc-André Dalbavie, Melancholie des Widerstands, at the Berlin Staatsoper on 30 June 2024.
