The Festspielhaus Baden-Baden, fire victim! The New Year’s Eve concert featuring the Orquesta Filarmónica de Gran Canaria is undergoing some changes. Following last summer’s fires in Gran Canaria, his government had to reconsider certain projects, including the venue of his symphony orchestra in Baden-Baden.

The great German institution has therefore announced its replacement by the Wiener KammerOrchester. The young chef Thomas Guggeis conducts not a Spanish program as announced but extracts of Bizet’s Carmen. Miraculously available, the splendid mezzo Gaëlle Arquez performs alongside Joel Prieto.
