It is 100 years since he joined his muses, Camille Saint-Saëns has been celebrated throughout this year 2021, which ends in a climax in Berlin. From 5 to 19 December 2021, the Staatsoper Unter den Linden will present an exceptional cast in Samson et Dalila. The exceptional Wagnerian tenor Andreas Schager will fall under the spell of the sultry yet extraordinary Elina Garanca, one of the most beautiful Delilahs today. In the role of the High Priest, Michael Volle ideally completes the production led by the young conductor Thomas Guggeis who, at just 28 years of age, has just been appointed Music Director of the Frankfurt Opera.
