The new face of Julius Caesar

From 20 January to 16 February 2024, the Palais Garnier reprises Laurent Pelly‘s production of Handel‘s Giulio Cesare, this time conducted by Harry Bicket. After her great success in Ariodante, Emily D’Angelo was eagerly awaited by music lovers in the title role alongside the celestial Lisette Oropesa (Cleopatra) and Marianne Crebassa. A happy event keeps the French mezzo away from the stage, and Emily D’Angelo replaces her in the magnificent role of Sesto.
