Another sad news. We have learned the death of the Polish composer and conductor Krzysztof Penderecki from a long term desease. Undoubtedly one of the greatest figure in classical music from today, his catalog of works includes symphonies, concertos, some operas (like The devils of Loudun) and religious music, Penderecki being a devout Catholic.

Fortunately, his music will continue to be performed this season bringing deserved tributes.
