The Vienna Volksoper will soon reopen by welcoming its public with a reduced capacity to 65% of the seats, for the moment.

On September 13, 2020, the musical Sweet Charity (immortalized on Broadway by the couple Bob Fosse, Gwen Verdon) is the first on the 2020/21 season list of ten new productions.

In September, revivals of Kiss me, Kate and Lehár’s Die lustige Witwe are also scheduled. All participating artists and technical staff have been tested regularly allowing rehearsals and this upcoming reopening.
