Two Platée or nothing! The irresistible Rameau’s heroine struts at the Paris’ Théâtre des Champs-Elysées on December 2, 2019, performed by Anders J. Dahlin (in a concert version conducted by Alexis Kossenko).
The apotheosis is expected at the end of the season at the Royal Opera of Versailles from June 26 to 30, 2020. Hervé Niquet conducts Corinne & Gilles Benizio’s production (as Shirley and Dino). Tenor Mathias Vidal portrays the pretty and pretention frog.
