The superstar soprano from all over the world has just undergone emergency shoulder surgery, leading to cancellations and a chain reaction. She was due to perform Verdi’s Nabucco at the Vienna State Opera in November, fortunatly Saioa Hernández and María José Siri have been called in to replace her. However, fans and her many admirers can rest assured that Anna Netrebko will be on stage on 7 December 2021 to open the new season at La Scala Milan
