Maestro Zubin Mehta is no longer able to conduct Mozart’s Le nozze di Figaro in Florence as part of the Festival del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, as he is scheduled to undergo shoulder surgery. Thanks to a few adjustments in dates, the director emeritus of the prestigious event has been replaced by Marc Minkowski, a sought-after Mozartian. The dates are now 7, 14, 15 and 19 May 2022.
