The Philharmonie de Paris pulls out all the stops

The Philharmonie de Paris is back with a bang, with a line-up of great conductors. On the 6th and 7th of September 2020, Yannick Nézet-Séguin opens the ball with the Philadelphia Orchestra (and a fine programme with, in particular, the soprano Angel Blue, the revelation of Gounod’s Faust at Bastille). On the 8th and 9th, Klaus Mäkelä returns to his Orchestre de Paris before the Koninklijk Concertgebouworkest. Esa-Pekka Salonen follows him on the 14th and 15th ofSeptember to conducts Messiaen’s Turangalîla, while Gustavo Dudamel conducts Mahler on September 16 with the Orchestre de l’Opéra national de Paris.
