The Paris Opera is breaking new ground by hosting Nixon in China, the first opera by John Adams to enter the repertoire. The production will be performed at the Opéra Bastille from 25 March to 16 April 2023 and is directed by Valentina Carrasco in her first staging at the Opéra national de Paris. The two great voices who performs as Richard and Pat Nixon are familiar faces in Paris: Thomas Hampson and Renée Fleming will be accompanied by Gustavo Dudamel‘s musical direction.
