The renowned and prestigious Orchestra dell’Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia opens its 2022-23 season with, for once, an opera in concert version. On 18, 20 and 22 October 2022, the furious music of Elektra, Richard Strauss’ stunning opera, will resound in the Sala Santa Cecilia of the Parco della Musica. Music director Antonio Pappano‘s cast includes Ausrine Stundyte, who performs as Elektra, Petra Lang, Kostas Smoriginas, Elisabet Strid and Neal Cooper.
