The Brussels’ Palais des Beaux-Arts and the Orchestre Symphonique de la Monnaie are taking a step ahead on Beethoven’s 250th anniversary celebrations (the German iconic composer is born on December 17, 1770). On January 6, 2019 Alain Altinoglu conducts Beethoven’s Symphonies 2 & 4. The world premiere of Mauricio Sotelo’s L’angelo necessario, per clarinetto e orchestra (commisioned by La Monnaie) is also performed.
