2023 is the year of Maria Callas, because on 2 December she would have been 100 years old. Tributes to the Diva assoluta have already been paid around the world (notably in Athens, where she made her debut), but Paris is rolling out the finest red carpet with a gala evening on 2 December 2023, D-Day, which promises to be exceptional. Returning to the splendour of prestigious evenings, director Robert Carsen has devised a tribute show featuring the superb soprano Sondra Radvanovsky and a number of prestigious colleagues whose names are still being kept secret. The conductor will be Eun Sun Kim.
