At 76, great Latvian conductor Mariss Jansons passed away this weekend. Great artist, he has been Principal Conductor of prestigious orchestras such as the Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra, the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, the Koninklijk Concertgebouworkest and finally the Symphonieorchester des Bayerischen Rundfunks.
