The London’s Barbican Center brigthly celebrates the International Women’s Day on 8 March 2018, with the Insula Orchestra conducted by Laurence Equilbey to perform Louise Farrenc’s Symphony No. 3 and Beethoven’s Triple Concerto starring Alexandra Conunova, Natalie Clein and Alice Sara Ott.

On 8–11 February 2018, great Belgian choreographer Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui performs Pluto at London’s Barbican Theatre based on Manga’s iconic Astro Boy tale.
At London’s Barbican Hall, on 13 Jan 2018, Sir Simon Rattle with the London Symphony Orchestra conducts the Genesis Suite, seven movements each written by seven different composer, Schoenberg, Stravinsky, Milhaud, Toch, Castelnuovo-Tedesco, Tansman and Bartók who finaly could’nt take part of the project.
Incredible ! On 24 January 2018 the Orchestra of La Scala Milan performs for the first time at London’s Barbican Hall, thanks to Maestro Riccardo Chailly brings the orchestra overseas to perfom Rossini, Tchaikovsky and Grieg’s famous Piano Concerto starring Benjamin Grosvenor.
To mark Simon Rattle’s inaugural season as new Music Director of the London Symphony Orchestra, the Barbican offers a ten day celebration named « This is Rattle » with concerts and events from 14 September.
Superstar pianist Lang Lang needs a physical therapy on his left arm and must cancel his concerts until the end of the summer such as London Symphony Orchestra’s on July 11th and 12th conducted by Simon Rattle. Denis Kozhukhin replaces him.
