Gaétan Jarry, the musical director of the Marguerite Louise Ensemble, is no longer leaving Versailles.

While Georges Dandin, the comedy-ballet by Molière and Lully directed by Michel Fau is announced at the Royal Opera of Versailles from 24th to 28th March 2021, the conductor will conduct on November 1st, 2020 Mathias Vidal’s Rameau recital  (also at the Royal Opera of Versailles). The voice of this true French-style haute-contre will be heard in opera excerpts composed at the time for the famous Pierre de Jelyotte.

On 15 November at the Chapelle Royale de Versailles this time, Gaétan Jarry performs again with Mathias Vidal (as well as Maïlys de Villoutreys and David Witczak) in the Grands motets of Rameau and Mondonville.

Latest news, the record label Château de Versailles Spectacles has just released the CD “Georges Dandin” by Molière and Lully, which he conducts brilliantly.
