Gershwin in Vienna: A new production is expected at the Vienna’s Volksoper. Gershwin’s Porgy and Bess is premiered on February 10, 2019. Gershwin’s masterpiece, directed by Joseph R. Olefirowicz, will be performed by Melba Ramos (Bess), Morris Robinson (Porgy), Lester Lynch (Crown) and Ray M. Wade Jr. (Sportin ‘Life). Rebecca Nelsen as Clara sings the famous hit « Summertime ».
