The Christmas presents are nearly unpacked, some other gifts await music lovers, at Easter in Baden Baden. The Osterfestspiele, led by the Berliner Philharmoniker, offers outstanding performances such as Verdi’s Otello not directed by Daniele Gatti as announced but by Maestro Zubin Mehta. In the Robert Wilson’s production an exceptional cast composd by Sonya Yoncheva, Stuart Skelton, Luca Salsi and Francesco Demuro performs.

Further highlights are expected at the Festspielhaus in Baden Baden from 13 to 22 April 2019 with lavish concerts conducted by Kirill Petrenko satrring Lang Lang or Patricia Kopatchinskaja and an exceptional Verdi’s Requiem (with Riccardo Muti, Vittoria Yeo, Elīna Garanca, Francesco Meli and Ildar Abdrazakov).
