Recently awarded Artist of the Year by the German magazine Opernwelt, the divine soprano Marlis Petersen once again takes on the role of Marietta in Korngold’s Die tote Stadt at the Brussels La Monnaie-De Munt from 22 October 2020.

Her partner is no longer Jonas Kaufmann, as in Munich, but Roberto Saccà, who performs as Paul. Mariusz Treliński is the director and Lothar Koenigs is the musical director.
