Reopening of the Rome Opera with Vivaldi, Mozart and Verdi

Reopening of the Rome Opera with Vivaldi, Mozart and Verdi. After a successful summer season at Circo Massimo, the Teatro dell’Opera is ready to return to its stage at the Teatro Constanzi with a modified program.

The ballet Le quattro stagioni on the famous music by Vivaldi with the choreography of Giuliano Peparini opens the dance season while Mozart’s rare opera Zaide (performed by the magnificent Chen Reiss as Zaide) is staged by Graham Vick and conducted by the Roma Opera musical director, Daniele Gatti. A revivalval of Verdi’s La Traviata will then be performed in the re-edited Sofia Coppola’s production.
