Savonlinna « same same but different » ! Due to the coronavirus epidemic, the famous Finnish Festival in the medieval Olavinlinna castle had to postpone his summer’s festival until 2021.

All six opera production scheduled in 2020 will now take place in 2021. The Gala concert starring Karita Mattila is also maintained. Verdi’s La Traviata, Bizet’s Carmen, Rossini’s Il Barbiere di Siviglia will be on stage, Händel’s Giulio Cesare, Massenet’s Werther and Szymanowski’s Król Roger as well.
