<p>The stars of the <a href="https://actualites.music-opera.com/en/tag/royal-ballet-en"><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Royal Ballet</strong></span></a> perform on the legendary stage of <a href="https://actualites.music-opera.com/en/tag/covent-garden-en"><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Covent Garden</strong></span></a> until <strong>26 May 2025</strong>, in <strong>Kenneth MacMillan</strong>&#8216;s splendid and iconic choreography.</p>
<p>Starting on <strong>March 15</strong>, <strong>2025</strong>, at the <strong>Opera of Ghent</strong>, and from April 3 at the <strong>Opera of Antwerp</strong>, Spanish choreographer <strong>Marcos Morau</strong> presents <em><strong>Romeo + Juliet</strong></em>, a new production inspired by <strong>Shakespeare</strong>’s classic tale and <strong>Sergei Prokofiev</strong>’s music, conducted by <strong>Gavin Sutherland</strong>. One of the most renowned and sought-after artists of the moment, <strong>Morau</strong> will make his debut with <a href="https://actualites.music-opera.com/en/tag/opera-ballet-vlaanderen-en"><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Opera Ballet Vlaanderen</strong></span></a>, working with the company’s dancers in an innovative vision where he sees “<em><strong>much less love and much more of the violence expressed by Shakespeare and Prokofiev.</strong></em>”</p>

In Bow Street, at the <strong>Royal Opera House</strong>, from <strong>2 February to 6 March 2023</strong>, <strong>Andrzej Filończyk</strong> performs as Rossini&#8217;s hero accomplice Count Almaviva, the great Rossinian tenor <strong>Lawrence Brownlee</strong>, who is about to woo <strong>Aigul Akhmetshina</strong>&#8216;s charming Rosina under the exasperated eye of the dottore Bartolo (<strong>Fabio Capitanucci</strong>) and the taunting eye of Don Basilio, the great <strong>Bryn Terfel</strong>.
