Opening on 14 November 2023, the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées is preparing to welcome one of the flagship productions of its season, Mozart‘s Die Zauberflöte (The Magic Flute), directed by Cédric Klapisch (the well-known film director) and conducted by the great François-Xavier Roth. The prestigious cast (Regula Mühlemann, Cyrille Dubois, Jean Teitgen, Marc Mauillon, etc.) has just lost a feather, as Florian Sempey, who was due to perform as Papageno, has had to withdraw. Like a phoenix, baritone Florent Karrer replaces.
