Bernstein‘s masterpiece, West Side Story, is on at Opera Australia from 22 March to 21 April 2024, but not in Jørn Utzon‘s famous building. Francesca Zambello‘s production, based on the original production and choreography by Jerome Robbins, will be staged on the open-air stage on Sydney Harbour, with the famous bridge and the iconic opera house as a backdrop. The event of the Australian spring!
